Liberman: Merger with Likud will bring real gov't reform

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said on Thursday that the merge between Yisrael Beytenu and the Likud will bring a "true government reform."

Speaking at a press conference announcing the planned merge, Liberman said the threats and challenges Israel faces require governability and stability.

"We need national responsibility (in Israel), not fragments of parties that only exist for one term," Liberman said. "We're giving the citizens of Israel a real opportunity to stabilize the government," he added.
