Meridor: Unrelenting pressure may stop Iran from nukes

Intelligence Agencies Minister Dan Meridor said that if the West persists with sanctions and pressure against Iran, there is a chance it will give up on nuclear weapons development, in an interview with Israel Radio Tuesday.
Meridor said that the Iranians have already fooled the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the past and that the pressure should not be lifted without concrete actions by Iran.
He described the necessary steps Iran must take before the West should soften its pressure: transferring enriched uranium from its territory, stopping enrichment of any new material and ceasing operation of the facility near Qom.
