MK: Way to end border protests is talks with Palestinians

The only way to end protests at Israel's northern border is to talk with the Palestinians and begin a process which will lead to Palestinian statehood, Labor MK Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Israel Radio Monday morning.
"The way is not to say no to everything, no to pre-1967 borders with land swaps, no to Palestinian statehood...we have to sit now and talk about everything, about borders and security arrangements, let's do it now," Ben-Eliezer said.
He added that, when he previously served in the Netanyahu government, he made a mistake believing that the prime minister would move forward with the peace process.
