MKs on Left decry Israeli response to 'flytilla'

Left-wing MKs condemned Israel's response to the "flytilla" protest, as Israel prepared to bar entry to some 2,000 activists from at least 15 different countries, either by preventing them from boarding their flights or by deporting them once they arrive.

Meretz leader Zehava Gal-On reacted to Israel's blacklisting pro-Palestinian activists, saying that this move only deepens delegtimization of Israel.

MK Haneen Zoabi (Balad) said that the country's reaction to the "flytilla" proves that Israel violates human rights of people from around the world.

Meanwhile, MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) said that the activists are not pro-peace, but are rather pro-Palestinian anarchists who are trying to harm Israel.
