As many as 86 Indian fishermen were on Sunday released from Landhi Jail in the port city of Karachi by Pakistani authorities as a goodwill gesture.
The fishermen, officials said, departed for India via a business train from Karachi Cantt station.
According to Jail Superintendent of Landhi Jail, the fishermen who left Karachi at midday on Sunday, will be handed over to Indian authorities on Wagah Border on Monday.
Most of the prisoners had spent around five months in prison after straying into Pakistani territorial waters.
