Palestinians across W. Bank celebrating prisoner deal

There was a celebratory air across cities in the West Bank on Tuesday as family members of Palestinian prisoners serving time in Israeli jails took to the streets to celebrate the prisoner-swap deal struck between Hamas and Israel, Hamas-affiliate Al Resalah reported.
According to an Al Resalah witness, supporters fired shots in the air and celebrated in the streets in cities such as Hebron, Nablus, and Ramallah over the deal, which will see the release of 1,000 Palestinian prisoners, some of which are serving heavy sentences.
