Petition filed to reopen Tair Rada murder case

A petition was filed against Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein in the High Court on Monday alleging that despite one conviction, the murder of 13-year-old Tair Rada remains unsolved.

The petition was filed by two lawyers on behalf of Doron Beldinger, a video expert for the defense in the trial of the only man convicted for the murder. It demanded that several youths who were involved in the murder be tried and jailed.

The two lawyers and the petitioners emphasized that they were filing the petition at their own expense in order to see all those involved in the murder brought to justice. They noted that they were not taking any position on the man already convicted in the case.
