PM: Gov't is working on migrant problem, no violence needed

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday confirmed that his government is working to stop the wave of illegal infiltrators that are entering Israel. "We are doing this by building a border that was not built throughout the years and now the border exists and we are also carrying out an number of other procedures," Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu called on Israeli citizens not to harm illegal African migrants, and to allow the government to deal with the problem.

"I ask for one thing: That citizens of Israel don't take the law into their own hands, and don't get involved with violence and verbal abuse," the prime minister said.
