Police: Synagogue burned in Jerusalem

Jerusalem police announced Sunday that over Saturday night a fire broke out inside a synagogue on Panim Meirot St. in the capital's Romema neighborhood, burning the ark and its curtains.
Police began an investigation on Sunday, and said that the fire appeared to be the result of arson; the motives are unknown.
