Private jet departs to Cairo to return Grapel to Israel

A private jet departed on Thursday afternoon from Israel to Cairo to return dual US-Israeli citizen Ilan Grapel.
The 27-year-old was arrested in Cairo by Egyptian state security officers in June and held there for five months on spying charges.
The two Israelis who negotiated Grapel’s release with the Egyptians –  Netanyahu’s envoy Yitzhak Molcho and Kadima MK and former deputy Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) head Yisrael Hasson were in the airplane.
They were expected to arrive at Ben Gurion airport with Grapel at 5p.m.
