Report: Syria resolution reveals split in Arab League

A resolution that would suspend Syria from the Arab League has revealed a split in the regional body on Sunday, Al Arabiya reported.
Chief among the opposing nations are Yemen, Algeria, and Lebanon, an Al Arabiya correspondent said.
Syrian President Bashar Assad has intensified a military crackdown to crush protests demanding his resignation. The United Nations says the crackdown has killed 3,000 people.
