DAMASCUS - Syrian security forces killedtwo demonstrators on Friday in the southern city of Deraa as
they took part in a peaceful protest demanding political freedomand an end to corruption in Syria, a resident said.Hussam Abdel Wali Ayyash and Akram Jawabreh were amongseveral thousands who where chanting "God, Syria, Freedom" andanti-corruption slogans, accusing the family of the president ofcorruption, when they were shot dead by security forces who werereinforced with troops flown in by helicopters, the residentsaid.
