Tunisian opposition figure fears chaos in country

PARIS — A prominent Tunisian once jailed for challenging the deposed president expressed  worry on Thursday that his country's "people's revolution" will fall into chaos.
Moncef Marzouki told The Associated Press in an interview that such chaos could benefit the old guard — and even lead to calls for the return of the ousted leader.
Marzouki says "All this is extremely dangerous for the country."
Still, Marzouki is optimistic enough to envisage running for president in the country's first free elections, promised in the coming months. Marzouki was jailed for trying to run for president under the regime of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
Marzouki didn't exclude an alliance with the moderate Islamist party Ennahdha.
