UN urges Lebanon to form new government amid Arab unrest

The United Nations urged Lebanon Tuesday to advance the formation of a new government amid the recent wave of Arab protests spanning the Middle East, AFP reported.
"Lebanon remains high on the agenda at the Security Council," AFP quoted UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Michael Williams as saying to reporters.
Former prime minister Saad Hariri's administration fell three months ago when Hezbollah member quit following Hariri's refusal to disregard and drop the International Court's investigation into the death of his father Rafik Hariri, who's assassination many believe Hezbollah members participated in.
