US: Boris Nemtsov's will cause 'long term damage' to Russia

The US on Monday expressed disappointment over the arrest of former Russian Deputy Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov after he was sentenced to 15 days in prison for involvement in an opposition rally in Moscow, reported AFP.
US State Department spokesman Philip Crowley released a statement saying Nemtsov's arrest has the potential of causing long-term damage to Russian interests, AFP said.
