The Bank of Israel is looking into reports alleging that employees in the bank made illegal use of the working facilities to participate in gambling activities.

The Bank of Israel is looking into reports alleging that employees in the bank made illegal use of the working facilities to participate in gambling activities. "We are investigating the matter," said a Bank of Israel spokesperson in response to a press report that the workers were using a private safe positioned at the central bank to store gambling proceeds and also of operating an illegal foreign currency exchange.
