Intel Israel has new CEO

Fassberg is Intel Israel's first female CEO and will be responsible for leading an operation with some 6,800 employees at five locations in the country.

Maxine Fassberg was introduced as Intel Israel's new CEO on Sunday, replacing Alex Kornhauser, who will takeover as CEO of the newly formed company Intel is creating with STMicroelectronics and Francisco Partners. Fassberg, who has been at parent company Intel Corp. for some 23 years and most recently held the position of vice president of technology manufacturing for the parent, will also head up Intel Israel's new Fab-28 plant currently under construction in Kiryat Gat. Fassberg is Intel Israel's first female CEO and will be responsible for leading an operation with some 6,800 employees at five locations in the country.
