The solution of Hummix was born from understanding the market need for 100% natural, fresh hummus, available at any time without preservatives, economical and cost-effective, ready in just a few minutes. Hummix is based on a unique patent combining cooked, roasted, and ground chickpeas together with roasted sesame. The mixture is dry, can be stored in a pantry for up to 18 months, and can be used anywhere without refrigeration - at home, in the office, on camping trips, or in the army.
During production, all the lengthy preparation stages are completed: Soaking, cooking, straining, roasting, and grinding. This provides the consumer with a convenient solution for preparing fresh hummus with personalized texture and taste in just a few minutes.
Hummix is suitable for vegans, contains no added sugar, is gluten-free, preservative-free, high in protein (22 grams of protein per 100 grams of the blend), and carries the green label. It is an economical and cost-effective solution, allowing you to prepare only the desired amount, with no waste.
When prepared according to instructions, 100 grams of Hummix blend yields approximately half a kilo of ready hummus, and a 500-gram package is enough to make around 2.5 kg of fresh hummus.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cold water (ice water preferred)
- 4 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup Hummix powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup raw tahini (light, not whole)
Preparation Instructions:
Pour all ingredients (except the tahini) in the order listed: First the water, then the rest, and blend all ingredients together using a food processor: Immersion blender / Ninja / Magimix, at maximum speed for 3 minutes (no less). Now add the raw tahini and mix for another minute to obtain a particularly delicious hummus.
For the perfect texture:
Too thin? Add a tablespoon of raw tahini and mix.
Too thick? Add a tablespoon of cold water and mix.
Taste it – and you can add spices, serve with olive oil / parsley / sumac / cumin… according to your personal preference.
Hummix on the go: In a rush? Army / hiking / office – you can mix all the ingredients thoroughly for 3 minutes using a spoon (if possible, use a food processor).
