This comes after the IDF warned residents of the area to stay in secured areas following attacks from the Strip into Israel and subsequent IDF tank fire.
The hacker group has been responsible for cyber attacks on websites across a variety of Israeli sectors in the past couple of months.
Credit for the cyberattack was claimed by the group Anonymous Sudan, which says it targeted Israeli sites Maariv, Walla, the Health Ministry and Shin Bet.
Israeli institutions have been the victims of a slew of hacking attacks in recent weeks.
The "Anonymous Sudan" hacker group, which carried out cyberattacks on Israeli sites earlier this month, took responsibility for the Quds Day attacks.
Other media websites hacked were Kan, i24 and Channel 2.
