Israel prevented Jordan’s Crown Prince from a high profile visit to Jerusalem that would have included the Haram Al-Sharif and apparently other sites, such as churches.
Last year, the foreign ministers of the three countries came together for discussions reportedly held in Baghdad, Amman and Cairo in March, August and November, respectively.
Cairo has backing of Jordan and Russia on Libya, but needs more support in region.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, who met with PA President Mahmoud Abbas, also warned that the annexation plan would “kill the two-state solution.”
