Emmy Award-winning Jewish music editor Lena Glikson has had a successful career in Hollywood. Now she hopes to bring her skills to Israel and get more in touch with her Jewish roots.

Here's everything Jewish about Monday night's Emmy awards:

"Succession" was named best drama series, an award it had won in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted its production schedule, while "Ted Lasso" won best comedy series.

Glikson was ultimately surprised to win the Emmy as part of the Stranger Things team, but for her, it’s the validation of all her efforts in her career.

The leading show across all categories was “Succession,” with 25 nominations total, followed by “Ted Lasso,” “The White Lotus,” “Only Murders In The Building” and “Hacks.”

The series, created by Moshe Zonder, is broadcast on Israeli channel KAN 11 and on AppleTV+ internationally. 

Advocate was also nominated for a second award, Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary.

While Brett Goldstein's acceptance speech delighted audiences, Scott Frank's speech missed the mark because it was too long.

In a significant night for women nominees, Lucia Aniello got a rare directing win for the comedy series Hacks about a fading female comedian.
