IDF Home Front Command soldiers, Magen David Adom, United Hatzalah, and Israel Police responded to reports of shrapnel hitting in central Israel early Sunday morning.

The Home Front Command said areas including the Gaza Envelope, Jordan Valley, Judea and Samaria, and the Arava will shift from “Limited Activity” to “Partial Activity” starting March 16 at 6 a.m.

The statement appeared to signal that Iran may escalate both the scale and sophistication of its ballistic missile fire as the war continues.

The advisory, which urged Israelis to refrain from participating in events and gatherings linked to Israel, comes as Iranian forces are believed to be intent on targeting Israelis in the Gulf region.

Kisch made the remarks after conducting a situational assessment at the Nahariya Municipality in the North, almost two weeks after the shutdown of schools, daycares, and kindergartens nationwide.

“When the siren sounded, he went outside. From the first day of the war, I begged him, ‘Go into the shelter,’ but he didn’t listen,” Yevgeny told Walla. 

Typically, Iranian ballistic missiles have 500 to 1,000 kilograms of explosives in them and strike one target, causing significant damage there and to the immediate surroundings.
