News of Miller’s positive test delayed Pence’s scheduled departure Friday to Des Moines, Iowa, for more than an hour, and several staffers who had been in contact with her left the plane.

Miller responded to the letter sent on Friday by 25 Jewish Democratic House members urging President Donald Trump to dismiss Miller, focusing on his hard-line views on immigration.

“Weaponizing antisemitism is incredibly dangerous – by muddying the waters, we are no longer able to see and fight against the real anti-Semites in our midst,” the letter reads.

The other candidates to sign on are Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Michael Bennet of Colorado.
