If unemployment drops below 10%, benefits will be reduced by 10% – and if the rate drops below 7.5%, the program will be canceled completely.
The resort city of Eilat suffered from the highest unemployment rates in Israel during the third lockdown.

Between 2012 and 2017, the net income of households in lowest and middle quintiles increased at an average annual rate of 4%, compared to 2.6% among highest-quintile households.
This is the first time since November 2017 that the rate increased.
