IDF operates in Jenin for the first time in two months • Three Hamas terrorists arrested, one Palestinian rushed for treatment in Israel

MIDDLE EAST AFFAIRS: The recent terrorist attack in the West Bank and Iran’s boasting about its ability to influence attacks in the West Bank showcase the danger of Tehran’s hand.

The Gazafication of the West Bank is not a theoretical threat to be used against any hint of settlement evacuation. It is the reality unfolding on the ground today.

Two individuals were arrested, and one was killed in an exchange of fire between Israeli forces and local gunmen. 

While the Palestinian fighters make no secret of the fact money comes from Iran, for them, the battle is a local one, fueled by anger over the Israeli presence in the West Bank.

A joint statement by Israeli security forces said that the cell leader was taking orders from terror figures in Gaza.

The IDF has been concerned about acting too much in Jenin, which could undermine the PA's legitimacy there by making them look like they are working directly with the IDF.

Abbas’s visit to the Jenin Refugee Camp proved that although the PA has lost much of its credibility among Palestinians, it continues to carry a lot of clout in the West Bank.

The images of the rocket are more about a psychological and symbolic war against Israel.

The IDF stressed that the rocket did not pose a danger to Israelis.
