Israeli Ido Zoldan was killed late Monday evening in a shooting attack in the West Bank.

According to initial reports, Zoldan, 29, was driving past the village of Funduk, between the settlements of Kedumim and Karnei Shomron, when Palestinian gunmen opened fire.
Israel Radio reported that the shots appeared to have been fired from a passing car.
Magen David Adom paramedics from the Emmanuel station were scrambled to the scene and attempted to resuscitate him, but were forced to declare him dead.
Security forces were pursuing the assailants, who reportedly fled the scene in the direction of nearby Palestinian towns.
The Aksa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of the Fatah, took responsibility for the attack, saying that it was "a protest against the Annapolis conference and a response to Israel's crimes against the Palestinians."
According to Israel Radio, a small offshoot of Fatah's military branch, the "Army of Gospels," claimed responsibility for the shooting.
Zoldan, a resident of Shavei Shomron, was brought to rest in Kdumim on Tuesday afternoon. He was survived by a wife and two children.
According to Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen Gabi Ashkenazi, the terrorists who carried out the attack were probably former Fatah activists. Ashkenazi was speaking at the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
