3 NATO service members killed in south Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan — Three NATO service members were killed in Afghanistan on Friday, the coalition said.In southern Afghanistan, one service member was killed by a bomb and the other by an insurgent attack, NATO said in separate statements. A third was killed by a bomb in the eastern part of the country. NATO gave no further details or nationalities.The deaths bring the total number of NATO fatalities in Afghanistan this year to 615.
