Defense Ministry Diplomatic-Security Bureau head Amos Gilad said Monday that violence is not expected as the Palestinians turn to the United Nations for statehood recognition, although Israel is ready for anything, Army Radio reported.
"There is no violent energy, but we are working hard to prepare the police and security forces. The last thing we want is to see a Palestinian injured, or, heaven forbid, killed," Gilad was quoted as saying.
