Defense Minister Ehud Barak said on Tuesday that the State of Israel, and he as head of the defense ministry, had a moral and military responsibility, to bring captured IDF solider Gilad Schalit home in any possible and conceivable way. In statements made while speaking with Kfir Brigade recruits at the Tel Hashomer army base, Barak also addressed the army insubordination phenomenon of recent weeks. "We are all brothers, even over the most divisive issues, and we must act in unison", said Barak.
