The body of a 28-year-old man was found in the southern city of Beersheba on Saturday, according to local police.

The cause of the man's death remains unclear.

Authorities were called to the scene after police received eyewitness reports of a man lying prostrate on Rabbi Uziel street with no signs of life.

Police initially arrested three youths in connection to the case, but were later released under restriction after being interrogated.

Police are still investigating the case and are searching for suspects.
