The body of a 46-year-old man was found in a forest near Or Haner in the South on Wednesday. Police said that signs of violence were found on the body, and have launched a murder investigation. The deceased was a resident of Sderot. The investigation is being led by the Lachish police sub-district's Central Unit, under the command of Dep.-Cmdr. David Bawani. Police said that a court-imposed media ban will soon be in place, prohibiting publication of the identity of the homicide victim and details of the case.
