Dozens of disabled individuals gathered for a protest in front of the Welfare and Social Services Ministry in Jerusalem on Monday.

The protest marked the beginning of the disabled persons organization's struggle to raise their state allowances.

Protesters carried signs reading "Do not shorten our lives," "We want to live," and "Bibi, Boogi, can you live on NIS 2,000? We can't!"
