An additional suspect has been arrested in the January assassination of senior Hamas operative Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, Dubai’s police chief, Lt.-Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim claimed on Thursday, Army Radio reported.

Speaking to Emirati newspaper Al-Ittihad, Tamim said the arrest occurred several days ago but did not mention the location.

Tamim also claimed that he has received death threats on his life after he publicly revealed the incident. He said he received two threats in which he was told to "shut up" if he valued his life.
