Egypt and Libya join in $100 million real estate venture

Egypt and Libya are putting up $100 million for the construction of a real estate development on the outskirts of Cairo, al-Fatih city, al-Ahram reported on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
Libya will provide 75 percent of the funding for the project with Egypt providing the rest.
The joint venture came as Egyptian companies have been investing in Libya as the North African country ended a long period of diplomatic isolation.
