Faulty handbrake leaves young man severely injured in Safed

A 25-year-old man is severely injured after attempting to stop his unattended car from rolling away due to a faulty hand-brake.

Once the young man parked the car and it began to move, he tried to stop the car, and became caught between the vehicle and a wall.

A friend who was with the man moved the car immediately and saved the man's life.

Police were called to the scene and he was taken to Safed's Ziv Hospital.
