Four foreign soldiers killed in east Afghanistan

KABUL - Four foreign soldiers were killed in an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement.

It did not give any further details of the incident or the nationalities of the soldiers involved, but Afghan officials said the incident happened in Kapisa province, which is mainly patrolled by a French contingent under NATO.
