Hebrew Year 5770 brings in record number of tourists

The soon-to-end Hebrew year 5770 was the best (Hebrew) year ever for incoming tourism to Israel, the Tourism Ministry announced in a statement on Sunday. Approximately 3.1 million tourists visited Israel this year, compared to 2.6 million visitors in 5769 and 2.8 million visitors in 5768.“The Tourism Ministry will increase its marketing activity in the coming year in order to progress the ministry’s target of bringing another million tourists to Israel by 2012 and 5 million by 2015,” Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov said in the statement.Biden won't set sanctions on Netzah Yehuda Battalion - report
