IAF prepares to host 10 European fire suppression aircraft

Israel Air Force bases in Ramat David in the North have been preparing to host 10 European fire suppression aircraft which will arrive Friday morning to help battle the Carmel forest fire.
In addition, the IAF is readying for the possibility of sending its own aircraft to neighboring countries to receive fire retardant chemicals to help fight the blaze.
The IDF has decided not to renew fire suppression efforts by helicopters due to damage caused to the aircraft.
