An IDF soldier was lightly injured on Friday after a rock was hurled at him in Jalazone, a Palestinian refugee camp north of Ramallah.

Dozens of Palestinians were staging a protest in the area, near the West Bank settlement of Beit El.

The soldier was taken to a Jerusalem hospital for treatment.

Military personnel on the scene used crowd-dispersal methods in a bid to quell the unrest.
