An Israeli film was nominated Tuesday for a best foreign language film Academy Award.The Academy nominated Asghar Farhadi for directing "Footnote," a film about an academic competition between father and son.Bringing the international sphere to the Oscar stage, Israel will face off against the Iranian film "A Separation," which already won a Golden Globe for best foreign film.Also nominated is "In Darkness," the gritty Polish film about the Holocaust, "Bullhead" from Belgium and "Monsieur Lazhar" from Canada.
