Israeli parents of 5-months-old baby arrested on suspicion of abuse

Police arrested the parents of a 5-months-old baby from the city of Ramla on Thursday on suspicion that they caused their infant, who is currently hospitalized in grave condition, a serious injury.
According to police, the baby was brought to a hospital about a month ago and suffered bleeding from his eyes. Three weeks ago, a report was been filed about a baby that was brought to the hospital in a grieve condition. Testimonies were then taken from both parents (aged 25 and 24), and the hospital was requested to provide a medical diagnosis to help determine if the parents had intentionally hurt the baby.
The hospital's diagnosis helped raise the suspicion that the baby was violently shaken, resulting in cerebral hemorrhage with the possibility of irreparable damage.
The parents were arrested and investigated on Thursday, and will be brought to court later on Friday.
