Jordanian PM: Peace between J'lem and Amman getting cooler

Peace between Jerusalem and Amman is getting cooler andcooler due to the impasse in efforts to renew talks between Israel and thePalestinians, Jordanian Prime Minister Samir Al-Rifai told Israel Radio.

Speaking to the radio station at the World Economic Forum inDavos, Rifai stated that as his country was actively aiding the peace process, it was doubly frustrated withthe lack of progress.

In response to a question concerning Israeli overflights onJordanian territory as part of an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, Rifaireplied that is a staunch proponent of diplomacy and would not support any military maneuveragainst Teheran.
