Knesset c'tee approves bill on minimum wage; NIS 750 raise

The Knesset's Ministerial Committee on Legislation approved on Sunday MK Amir Peretz's bill to raise the monthly minimum wage from NIS 3,850 to NIS 4,600.The change is scheduled to take place gradually over a period of fifteen months. The bill will now be passed to a first reading in Knesset, where it will be subject to amendments.
