A new Israeli movie tarnishes former Hamas military commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh's reputation, said his family members, who are threatening to sue the film's production.

Mabhouh - who helped found Hamas's military wing - was killed two years ago at a five-star hotel in the United Arab Emirates, in what police in Dubai alleged was an assassination carried out by the Mossad.

According to Mabhouh's family, the film is degrading to Mabhouh's character because it portrays him as an avid drinker and womanizer, Army Radio reported.
