Likud Party primary candidate Moshe Feiglin conceded Wednesday morning that he had lost the primaries to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu."First of all, I lost the elections," Feiglin said during an interview on Channel 2's The World Today program, but added that he was taking the positive viewpoint that the glass was partly full.Feiglin won one quarter of the votes as of Wednesday morning, though there remained some 15 percent still uncounted. Netanyahu garnered 75% of the tallied ballots.The far-right candidate expressed optimism that he had a unifying vision for Israel, and one that could bring peace.He expressed satisfaction that in a "recent poll," over 80 percent of Israelis said that they believed in God, a sign Feiglin said that Jews were moving closer together.Feiglin argued that his politics were not on the far-right, and dismissed that most of his support came from settlements."The truth is constantly seen as extreme," he said.He insisted that "the Temple Mount is holy for Jews and Jews alone," and that once Israel extends its sovereignty to the Temple Mount, also one of Islam's holiest sites, then peace would prevail.
