Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that he is prepared to be personally investigated for his role in Israel's Gaza flotilla raid , reported Israel Radio.

Netanyahu, at a financial conference in Tel Aviv added that the commandos involved in the raid will face IDF investigators only and will not be subject to any outside probe.

The prime minister stated that an investigation should explore all the facts of the event, including who sponsored the Mavi Marmara and why there were weapons aboard the ship.
