New liability protocol for government budget requests

Following demands made by The Movement for Quality Government in Israel, the Ministry of Justice has green-lighted the implementation of new protocol which will ensure personal liability for workers serving in public offices, the movement announced on Sunday.
The new protocol will require any government official requesting aid from the state budget to place their name on the request. If the funds are not returned or accounted for properly at a later date, the courts will actively sue whoever's signature has been attached the request.
This marks a success for the the movement which first initiated it's requests for personal liability in 2010, after fearing that some government officials were reporting fraudulent budget accounts to skim money from the Israeli public.
