Nitzanim beach closed until further notice

The Interior Ministry closed Nitzanim Beach, located between Ashdod and Ashkelon, until further notice on Wednesday.
 A nearby sewage system malfunctioned earlier in the week and sent raw sewage down the Yiftah Stream and into the sea.
