Police finished preparations for Saturday night's mass march for social-justice. Though smaller numbers were expected than in previous weeks, some estimated between 70,000 to 100,000 could attend the demonstrations.

Ibn Gabriol Street was closed off to vehicle traffic at Kaplan Street, and police barriers were erected on either side of the roads.
