Poll shows Israeli approval for Obama is up

Although Israeli Jews might not be the best bet for electoral college votes in the upcoming US presidential elections, US President Barack Obama’s popularity is on the rise in Israel, where a new poll of Jewish Israelis and Arab Israelis and Palestinians indicates that both sectors are concerned about Iranian nuclear development.
In a survey conducted in mid-November by the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings Non-resident Senior Fellow Dr. Shibley Telhami, Jews and Arabs alike expressed concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear program, although concern is much higher among Israeli Jews.
